Skate and Relate Workshops

Chiggy's Skateboarding is delivering its final Skate and Relate Skateboarding Workshops across South East Queensland.

Our mission is to activate local skateparks and create safe, positive spaces where young people - particularly those at risk of offending or re-offending can connect, feel supported, and build confidence through skateboarding.

The program, Skate and Relate, will be delivered in targeted communities that need it most. Sessions will include learn-to-skate workshops, one-on-one and group coaching, live demos, mentoring, music, giveaways, food, and more. All workshops are led by three highly trained, professional skateboard coaches with strong experience in youth engagement. We we also be accompanied by members of the local police force.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR:

• Children and young people under the age of 17

• Children who are genuinely at risk and in need of early intervention

WORKSHOP TIMES:

There will be two workshops per day at each location - 10:00am - 2:00pm // 2:00pm - 6:00pm.

There will be a maximum of 30 participants in each workshop.
